Here at Saxtys we are able to offer you an unrivalled package when it comes to holding your party. We can cater for birthdays, christenings, hen & stag, retirement parties, conferences, prize givings, engagement parties, sports dinners, Christmas parties and even Weddings. Whether you want a small get together for you and your family or you are looking for a venue to hold a party for up to 350 people, we can help.

With various rooms available to hire, and extensive champagne & drinks lists, we can make your party or event an occasion to remember! You can hire the rooms 7 days a week - from just one room, to the whole venue!

We can hold private parties any day of the week (full venue Sunday to Thursday subject to availability, some Fridays may be considered depending on function size) and are licensed until 3am on weekends in our club.  We also have a late licence on selected other nights for those special dinner dance and party events that go into the small hours!  We have DJ and PA equipment, conference facilities and all the experience and expertise to lay on a full banqueting experience for that special event.  Hire our Club

Our dedicated and professional events and front of house teams work closely together to handle your event from beginning to end and also offer advice.  We don't do complete "packages" as every party and person is different. However we can put together a number of varying food, drink and other packages to suit your requirements and we do now offer Wine Tasting and Cocktail Making Parties.  We tailor make all our parties to each individual and try our very best to make sure everything is how you want it to be. We are experienced party people - with all of us having many years experience in the hospitality trade and of throwing our own parties!  We can even supply a DJ, entertainment and Security staff for your event!

Our main function room, the Library Bar is our largest room which can hold up to 300 people (drinks and canapé style) and up to 60 people seated for full dining on round tables of up to 10 for a dinner party.  It has its own bar and a DJ booth.

Then there is the Champagne bar - a more exclusive place to hold your party with room for up to 45 people for drinks and canapés informal style or a maximum of 30 seated formally in a more intimate and sophisticated environment.  The Champagne Bar also has its own bar and may be hired exclusively on our club nights as a VIP area subject to a minimum spend arrangement and availability.  In conjunction with the Library room which it overlooks, you can cater for up to 90 people for a formal sit down meal using the two rooms or 300 informally.  

By also utilising our partially covered patio garden area, adjacent to the Library room, you could increase capacity to 350 and we will also open the Garden bar for you for parties of 300 or over.  Our patio Garden area has it's own fully stocked bar as well as a barbecue which can also be used to hold your party in the “warmer” months, we have a superb Barbecue menu option which is perfect for a summer’s day or evening.  Please contact us for dates and availability.

Our other menus include an extensive choice of hot and cold fork buffet food, finger buffets and canapés ranging in price from the budget options to a much more extensive range.   In addition to this, we have a "create your own" dinner party menu for more formal occasions.  For special events and weddings our Head Chef can create a menu to your requirements. Please note, we are proud of our reputation as a food venue and confident we can provide something for your budget, because of this we regret we do not allow outside caterers or for guests to bring their own food (apart from cakes.)  

For drinks we have a large range of drinks available for arrival drinks or drinks for tables whilst dining. When booking with us please ask about what drinks we can do for you to suit your parties requirements.

Our complete venue capacity is 500 - for full venue hire please call us for availability and pricing.  (Not available on Friday and Saturday Nights.)

If you are not looking for a specific room to hire and would like to enjoy your party in the atmosphere of our restaurant, we have booths that seat up to 8 people and high tables that can seat groups of up to 26 – please call us to reserve a table 01432 357872.  (Please note we may require pre-orders for larger groups.)

If you are having a larger party event that is not suitable for one of our venues, we can still help! We can provide all your wines and drinks for an outside event along with free glass hire and even staff!  Check out our sister company www.saxtyswines.co.uk

Extras
DJ hire from £40 per hour
Security staff may be required for larger or specific types of event and those running past midnight.  Minimum charge of £100 applies.  Full Price on application depending on time and type of event and numbers attending.

Please bear in mind we are an over 21s venue on Friday and Saturday nights.  Whilst we emply some discretion on a case by case basis to 18-21 year olds if they are part of a party (provided they have suitable proof of age ID),  we do have to ensure all under 18s vacate the premises before 10pm.  We are bound to this by our premises licence.  Please contact us if you have children attending your event and we can advise on the necessary arrangements and what time they will need to vacate to ensure all your party attendees can enjoy our venue safely and securely.
