There are four bars in total in Saxtys - the Front Bar, the Library Bar, the Champagne Bar and the newly opened Garden Bar.
Saxtys has an excellent range of high quality products. Standard draught products include Carlsberg, Amstell, Henineken, Guinness and Stowford Press. These are complemented with our two niche products Kirin Ichiban and Erdinger, both of which are high end imported products from Japan and Germany.
In bottle you could take a trip around the world with Peroni from Italy, Asahi from Japan and Budweiser from USA and Corona from Mexico.
Moving to the top shelf Saxtys has an excellent range of spirits. You will find all the main line spirits are listed as well as a healthy range of Single malts, bourbon whiskies including Jack Daniel’s Silver Select, Gins , Vodka’s and also cognacs including Hennessy X.O.. A full list of all drinks is available on the Drink Menu. We will hopefully introduce a cocktail menu shortly to help extend our offering.
Finally Wine and Champagne are both very serious to Saxtys. We stock a full list of both to allow for everyone’s taste and budget. Our wines range from £9.95 to £99.00 and our Champagnes from £32.90 to £220.00 per bottle. Again please view our full list on our Drinks Menu
The entertainment side of Saxtys is held in The Library Bar at the rear of the building. The Library Bar is an excellent venue, which has been vastly improved during the last few years with considerable investment being ploughed into the venue.
The Bar area has been completely refurbished with a mixture of old and new design. Friday and Saturday Nights are the two main nights in Saxtys with a 3am Licence. Every Friday brings some of the best Funky Soulful House DJs from around to play fantastic music that’ll keep you dancing all night. Saturday’s are just as special with a mix of classic disco and funk tracks that remind you how to dance. Saxtys music policy is strictly ‘no cheese’ only classy funky tracks that are guaranteed to make you dance and have a great night.
You can of course watch all that goes on below you on the dance floor from the excellent surroundings of the Champagne Bar. The Bar is situated in the gallery that overlooks the dance floor, so you can relax with your glass of champagne whilst watching everyone dancing away below.
